I Visitatori della più grande esposizione di Camper hanno potuto ammirare il prototipo di Mehrzeller, una roulotte completamente personalizzabile.
Theresa Kalteis e Christian Freissling, due studenti Austriaci dell'università di Tecnologie e Architettura di Graz hanno deciso di rivoluzionare il mondo del caravan introducendo la filosofia dello sfruttamento degli spazi e della progettazione personalizzata per ogni cliente mantenendo però prezzi relativamente bassi in rapporto alla qualità del lavoro.
La produzione infatti sarà basata sulla personalizzazione di massa e i costi di produzione non saranno più alti di quelli attuali, infatti la struttura di base e i parametri architettonici rimarranno identici per tutti i modelli mentre i clienti potranno scegliere tra una moltitudine di soluzioni per gli interni potendo cosi personalizzare ogni centimetro del nuovo acquisto.
Che sia finalmente la svolta che il mondo dei camper/rouolotte aspettava?  ENGLISH PLEASE!
Visitors to Europe’s biggest camper show are getting a first look at the prototype of Mehrzeller, a completely customizable trailer. While RV designers and manufacturers the world over were nodding off at the wheel, Theresa Kalteis and Christian Freissling, two students at Austria’s Graz University of Technology’s faculty of architecture, decided to make a move. Their thesis project on “mobile living solutions” under professor Peter Schreibmayer was going to be not just a theory; it was going to become reality and something that will change the world of trailers. The production will be based on the principle of mass customization, and production costs will not be significantly higher than those of standard campers. The basic architecture and design parameters remain the same, while the customers get to choose pretty much everything else.
