Peter Masters di Burned Toast Design è conosciuto per il suo elegante legno lucido e i suoi mobili in acrilico ma il Reuben Wood Hair Saloon nel centro di Manchester è la prova che non se la cava affatto male anche nella creazione e arredamento di interni eccentrici. Questo dimostra che il designer è ha un innato talento ed è in grado di creare intere ambientazioni che possono essere al tempo stesso elettriche ma eleganti.

Usando dei semplici vetri curvati, ha potuto ricavare degli spazi adatti a ritirare tutti gli accessori necessari quotidianamente in un affollatto salone di bellezza. Inoltre questa scelta ha dimostrato di essere particolarmente efficace nel dare un senso di tranquillità all'ambiente anche quando particolarmente affollato.

Peter Masters of Burned Toast Design is known for his elegant bent-wood and curved-acrylic tables and chairs, but the Manchester, UK-based furniture designer can be big, bold and public, if required. A recent re-vamp of the funky Reuben Wood Hair Salon in Manchester’s city centre shows that Masters has the talent to create an entire environment that is eclectic, electric and elegant.

Using simple curved mirrors, he created the storage units necessary to hide the day-to-day paraphernalia of a busy hair salon. The creation of the large mirrored surfaces dictated that everything else needed to be streamlined and toned-down so that the space would not appear too busy or scattered when clients and staff would populate it.
