L'annuale Fiera del Libro di Lipsia (Leipziger Buchmesse) è appena finita. Dopo aver attirato circa 150.000 visitatori in soli 4 giorni, sta diventando uno dei più grossi eventi d'Europa dedicati al l ibro.
Quest'anno uno degli stand che ha suscitato maggior interesse da parte dei media è stato quello realizzato da Johannes Albert, un Architetto e product designer di 29 anni. Ha progettato e realizzato uno stand espositivo con 15.000 matite usando come tema ispiratore il fatto che nessuno utilizzi più matite come strumento di scrittura. Il tutto commissionato da Mitteldeutscher Verlag Publishers.

The annual Leipzig Book Fair (Leipziger Buchmesse) has just ended. Attracting some 150,000 visitors each March, the four-day Fair is one of Europe’s largest bookish events.
At this year’s Fair, the trade show exhibit that received some serious media attention was made of 15,000 pencils — the writing instrument hardly anybody uses for writing. Interior Architect and product designer, 29-year-old Johannes Albert and Book Designer Helmut Stabe designed and realized the pencil concept for Mitteldeutscher Verlag Publishers.
