La casa svizzera GreenGT ha disegnato una nuova auto elettrica ad uso esclusivo pista basata sul regolamento per partecipare a Le Mans. Thomas Clavet ha realizzato i bozzetti da cui è poi nata la vettura. Telaio in fibra di carbonio con carrozzeria in vetroresina approvati dalla FIA (Federazione internazionale Automobile) e due motori da 100 KW raffreddati ad acqua collegati a un cambio con differenziale autobloccante.

 progettato e brevettato dalla Green GT permettono alla vettura di raggiungere i 100 km/h in meno di 4 secondi e una velocità massima di 275 km/h. La potenza è stimata in circa 400 cavalli.

L'energia viene invece ricavata da celle fotovoltaiche e da due batterie agli ioni di litio.

GreenGT sta lavorando per portare la sua vettura a LeMans nel 2011 e sta pianificando di produrre 22 auto stradali nei prossimi tre anni.

 

 

 

 

GreenGT of Switzerland has designed an electric racer for the requirements and specifications of Le Mans racing. Penned by French designer Thomas Clavet, the GreenGT design study, this prototype is made up of an FIA-spec carbon chassis with a fiberglass body.

 

It is powered by a pair of 100 kW water-cooled electric motors, which are mated to a differential gearbox patented by GreenGT. Power supply comes from flexcell photovoltaic solar panels and with and two lithium-ion batteries. The specs at below.

They hope to bring two GreenGTs to LeMans in 2011, and plan to produce 22 road-going models within the next three years.
