Uno spazio di luce, riflessi con il porto, le barche e la luce del tramonto... questa è l'ispirazione ceh ha portato CHRISTOPHE Pillet's a ridisegnare il "Bar Du Port" a St. Tropez. Creato nel 2001 è stato completamente ristrutturato e rimodellato nel 2008. Specchi, fulmini ed effetti di luce sono elementi di decoro. Pietre bianche in contrasto con i vetri fumè creano un ambiente elegante ma che al tempo stesso può cambiare colore grazie alla luce diffusa dagli schermi a led che possono variare colorazione.
Se capitate da quelle parti... merita veramente una visita!

« A space of brightness, radiating, reflecting, the port, the boats, absorbing the sun, the light… » such is the inspiration behind Christophe Pillet’s redesigning of the Bar du Port in Saint Tropez. Created in 2001, the Bar du Port has been entirely remodeled for
2008, giving center stage to the interplay of mirrors, shadows, and treating light itself as an element of decor. Glass, smoked mirrors, white stone and white furnishings, create a dazzling ambiance that subtly changes as the hours pass, as LED screens diffuse different colored light effects.

Da quando gli originali Wayfarers di Ray-Ban si sono presentati sulla scena nel 1952 con la loro nuova figura ribelle, si sono trasformati in in un accessorio leggenda senza rivali. Quest' anno, Ray-Ban ha aggiornato radicalmente il look con l'introduzione dei Colorize Wayfarers: una gamma di montature colorate e a doppia tonalità.
Indossati dai più grandi e promettenti nomi nella musica, sono fatti per essere visti dentro.

Quando usciamo e compriamo mobili per arredamento solitamente sappiamo per cosa sono stati creati. E se invece potessero essere interpretati diversamente da altre persone? Prendiamo per esempio questa creazione di Yoon-Zee Kim. Per qualcuno potrebbe essere un semplice scaffale, per altri invece una sedia e una scrivania...
Questa piccola premessa per interpretare la nuova realizzazione del noto designer... e se anche noi, guardandoci intorno, trovassimo nuovi utilizzi per i mobili che abbiamo a disposizione?

When we go out and buy that big piece of furniture, we usually know exactly what it’s for. However, what if that piece of furniture could be reinterpreted differently by people. Take for instance this design by Yoon-Zee Kim. To one person it may simple be funky shelving. To another, it’s seating and a desk.
